Meant to post the link to the Pew survey, via WaPo: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...eir-audiences/

This woman has noticed the debasing of American politics, and she has some definite feelings about it. Very eloquently shared feelings. You'll want to listen to the whole thing, and then share it further.

Krauthammer, Thiessen, Gerson and Jennifer Rubin are "institutional conservatives"?

She mentioned a point she said Dan rather made, that what we're doing is like the Roman devolution from virtuous republic to an empire of blood spectacles. I've heard this idea before, but at this time, I find it hitting home.

BTW, while I liked the above point, I don't want to give the impression that Politics Girl is dry and scholarly. The following is more the tone in general:

Quote:
I don't know what locker room you're in, Donald, but that is not how men talk. That is how assholes talk. That is how rapists talk. And my son deserves better than to have to look up to a man who does not know the difference.
That part starts about the 2:10 point. If folks don't look at anything else, that part should be checked-out. The body language is very eloquent!

here's that link again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fy3aT9-UA4
