Obviously not.
Many, if not most newly minted POTUS' come into office "over their heads", and have to rise to the challenges with varying degrees of awareness and practical experience. Ego and bluster are no substitute for confidence and experience dealing with situations of responsibility not under their control. Also, having a working relationship with reality and factual information is vital for successful survival.
Trump's absence of qualification and temperament is afaik unprecedented in degree and willful depth of ignorance.
His backers imo live in a dream world of magical thinking, circular logic, and in part of some, varying degrees of ethnocentric racism.

He and they shame the image of the country they wish to "shake up" with their temper tantrum candidate, the ugly American candidate for the ugly American constituency.

Your choice, your future.

I can add that some 'Pubs are essentially party voters that will go with their flow, regardless of the candidate, for their own priorities, whether religious "freedom", lib's "giving the store to layabouts" with social programs, or other hot button issues pushed to curry votes regardless of factual basis.

Quinnipiac has Clinton up by 1% and Bloomberg has her tied with Trump. Both with a MOE of about 3%.

Now, now, I think you have set your expectations just a little too high. These are presidential candidates after all.
