No.... You are the one with the BS and the biased glasses.

Several here have given reasonable answers backed up with examples and you routinely dismiss anything not favorable to Trump all the while saying you are objective.

My grandmother used to have a saying for situations like this.... "I believe you even if millions don't" delivered with a wink and a nod.

This is what a Trump administration would look like.
Isn't one of the 'Donald's' claims is that he will hire the best managers to do the job? I guess we'll see his mobster buddies running the Interior Dept. and H.U.D. and Lewandowski running the FBI.

You may be right of course. The repubs will likely find a way to screw him, and by extension themselves, in the process. Most days, most Repub party types couldn't find their asses even if crap came with GPS.

The GOP has already screwed themselves by inculcating their base with so much echo chamber idiocy that they fell for the ultimate con-man. You can be sure if Limbaugh had chosen to run instead of Trump, he'd have at least as good of numbers as Trump.

Funny thing is I would like to see the party of Ike resurrect itself from the ashes of this campaign year (minus the McCarthyites and 'Baggers of course.)

Now, you might take issue with the words that were used. Fine. He didn't use PC language in making his point. But the points that Trump was making in these statements need not be lost in a criticism of in-artful rhetoric...

...unless of course that's your objective.
No, the point is that he utilizes inflammatory rhetoric to appeal to a particular mindset - the mindset of folks who not only reject political correctness, but reject the well-intentioned values underlying political correctness (i.e. inclusion of all minorities). It appears to me that he intentionally appeals to our dark angels. And the call for wholesale exclusion of a religion has nothing to do with "inartful rhetoric." It is an unabashed call for overt and unconstitutional religious discrimination.

By the way, I reject the premise that we have any type of immigration crisis. The levels of illegal border crossings have decreased, and the past eight years have seen the deportation process working at full capacity. To follow through with wholesale expulsion from the country would require us to abandon even a hint of due process. His points are no more reasonable than his rhetoric.

Regards,

D-Ray

You can cherry - pick this a bit, and I'm sure some will. Here's one that jumps out at me:

"73,665
The number of inmates in state and federal prisons who are not U.S. citizens, according to the latest prison population report from the Bureau of Judicial Statistics. That's about 5% of the total prison population."

Estimates put illegal immigrants at about 3 - 3.5% of the US population. Since the US government has the ability to deport illegal immigrants with criminal records - and the effect this would likely have on "stacking the statistical deck" in favor of the illegal immigrant population - the 5% prison population seems a bit larger than it should otherwise be if illegals committed crimes at the same rate as US citizens. Is it "racist" to make this observation. Nope. Its an opinion that is supported by an examination of the available data.
Flawed logic here. "Not a U.S. Citizen" does not necessarily equate to "illegal immigrant."
