It's already started. It's mostly Breitbart, Limbaugh and Murdoch pushing the Ashley Madison-Hunter Biden story.

Mind you, Hills also had great favorability ratings until she jumped in, it seems typical that favorability ratings drop once the campaign gets going.
Call me ageist but Joe seems worn down from all the years in public service and he and the family are still grieving over Beau.
In closing, call me crazy but I see Joe as a team player and campaigning for Hillary. Give the old duffer a plum ambassadorship at the Court of St. James for his lifetime in public service.

That paints a picture in which Hillary comes out of the email brouhaha soon and unscathed, in terms of legal exposure and reputation and thereafter learns how to campaign effectively. Lots of ifs there too.

I think it's to late for that -
“Clinton has some serious problems,” said Andy Smith, director of the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. “Maybe Bernie Sanders isn’t the ideal candidate to run against her, but the anti-Clinton vote is where the energy is.”

Agreed, call it faith if you must but the right has called wolf so many times and they've always ended up with egg on their faces and the Clintons get a poll bump in return.
Have you read David Ignatius' op-ed in the Post today?

I did and am not sure that I agree, as much respect as I have for him. While he says that back-channels have always existed (and also skirted the law), these back-channels are more of an occasional skirting of the law, not the default means of all communications. Plus, he doesn't address the issue of maintenance of public records (whether classified or otherwise). Lastly, he says that Hillary's case isn't analogous to John Deutsch's, but it's actually eerily close.

Yes and even better if Finn can find a cartoon showing RNC calling up some minor leaguers since neither Joe nor Bernie can throw a strike. Anyone other than Kamala Harris come to mind?

I want to marry her!
She's going to run for the Senate though...... which is what I think Martin O'Malley should have done with Barbara Mikulski retiring (and Donna Edwards could have stayed in the House).
