Governor 'Moonbeam' Gets It

"Gov. Jerry Brown unveiled his revised $169-billion state budget proposal on Thursday morning, with public schools among the biggest beneficiaries from an increase in state revenue triggered by California’s rebounding economy.
The spending plan also sets aside funding for drought relief and to provide healthcare for eligible immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally but may be shielded from deportation under President Obama’s executive order on immigration, a federal policy currently under legal challenge." LATimes

Luckily, the Governator didn't implement full-blown Reaganomics a la Sam Brownback. Plus, of course, California has a lot more going for it than Kansas.

I hope the San Andreas has a conniption fit soon. Once California is in the Pacific, along with all the fruits, nuts and flakes, the better off the US will be.

And the center of the world's high-tech and entertainment industries, not to mention the highest agricultural receipts of any state.
