That poster attributes this to continued 'new deal' policies laid down at the time of the Marshall Plan. HarmanKardon, are you reading? Is this accurate in your view?

he also traded NY cost-of-living for North Carolina's. But I agree he'd have been better off keeping the MTA job, and sending $ south and visiting a lot.

However, as a New Yorker I am well aware as to how prized the benefit laden
MTA job is.

I applaud Mr Green for his commitment to his family. I sincerely hope his family is appreciative.

It is ironic that we have reduced tremendously our manufacture in favor of especially China; a country which we view somewhat adversarially.
