I just spoke to my son for an hour or so yesterday on Skype. In Tel Aviv, instead of people running into buildings or shelters during a siren, many go outside on the sidewalk to look up in the sky and watch the Iron Dome fireworks.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think a single Israeli has been killed by a missile during this whole affair. The initial reported fatality was a civilian who voluntarily went up to the Gaza border to bring food and drink to the troops and was hit by a mortar round. In the same time frame, one other person was injured by a rocket. BTW, many of the rockets don't have explosive warheads. They substitute extra fuel (molten sugar and fertilizer) for explosives to extend their range.
