You don't get it. Taking Nugent, et al is THE PRICE THEY PAY to get their dude back.

Sure we'd give them Nugent for free, but what's their motivation to go for that?

And torture fine for the interrogation part, of course. After all, we can do anything we want to non-citizens. It's open season every day on them. That human-rights stuff is just a silly idea, doesn't really mean anything....

And it follows there's nothing actually wrong with doing like that to citizens, either, as long as you don't get caught.

So no interrogation of the people we capture, eh?

Pete

I suspect that these 'pubbies are wanting this guy to be waterboarded at Gitmo until after the November elections. The last thing the 'BENGHAAAAAAAZI' screamers want is for this terrorist (who commited an "act of terror" in a US diplomatic compound) to be tried in open court.

Hmmmm, now who's playing politics over the four dead bodies of our guys? Hint-it ain't the black, Kenyan born, Mau Mau usurper in the White House and it certainly isn't former SOS Clinton.

See that thing up in the air, over your head, going ZOOM!

That would be the point.

Interrogation is fine, but torture is not. Is this really a difficult concept to understand?

As difficult as pointing out where I said torture.

Turns out that many of the "authorities" don't limit their torture to non-citizens. Just ask guys like Jon Burge.

What's hard for me to believe is that I'm two years older than this disfigured fat tub o' shit.
