Almost an interesting thread. Nope, not many black people went to any rock concerts I attended but if you were to go to something with real crossover appeal, say find pics of 1969 Newport Jazz, my money says you would find at least a proportionate 12 percent of the audience at a minimum were black.

I've always preferred their studio stuff.

Still like a lot off Woodstock. Canned heat, 10 years after, Jefferson airplane among others. Sure wish the SQ was better though.

I also enjoy imitating the stage announcements to younger people, they say 'is that for real?'
