Death spiral.... Sounds to me like a republican talking point to scare people into thinking the ACA is a bad thing.

Legislation of this magnitude takes time and patience.

As much as I dislike the ACA. As much as I would have preferred that Obama had taken his shot at a single payer system when he had the opportunity...I'm not much interested in the bleating of Republicans/conservatives, or the stooges they get to babble on their faux TeeVee news channels or radio gasbag talk shows about how they've been victimized by having to change their plan or change their doctor or change their brand of dog food.

I will not listen to anything out of their festering pieholes about healthcare until the Republicans show me their plan to go back to a "free market", for-profit, employer sponsored, insurance industry managed health care system that eliminates all pre-existings and covers the 30 million uninsured Americans (and that includes every child) at a cost that anybody can afford.

And even then...it will still cost twice as much as the next most expensive single payer system in Europe or Canada, and still provide us with life expectancy and infant mortality outcomes at the bottom of the list of first world countries on the planet. So it will still be crap.

ACA - taking both the Affordable and Care out of the health industry.

Gone for a day and I see JB and Pete are still whistling past the graveyard.

Reckon if they're praying as hard for an Obama failure when it comes to a debt ceiling default on the country's obligations as they are with the ACA...and Iran nukes...and Syrian genocide and...and...and...

Taking it out? Like there was anything to take out. Like affordable and care has ever been part of the American health industry under the management of the for-profit insurance industry.
