Matt Miller called the GOP on their crocodile tears. Such hypocrisy is even more unseemly than celebrating the problems with the implementation of the ACA.

The Matthews now have "free" health insurance? Sounds more like it's "free for thee and not for me".

5000 yearsago, Moses said, "Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land."
When Welfare was introduced, Roosevelt said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land."
Today, the government has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels and mortgaged the Promised Land to China.

SinglePayer is so much simpler but then although there is the concept of Provinciial Rights the provinces and the central government do know how to work together, unlike States Rights here and the Feds. The savings on paper alone would damn near pay for it.

Back that up. What about my statement is BS? I am a fair person, and it is never my intention to knowing deceive with wrong information, let alone try to convince others with brainless repetition. Just convince me with facts and logic that I am wrong in some way, and I will recant....

It is true, in large part and you know it. We all do.

Exhibit A: If Obamacare and Romneycare were so much alike, then you'd expect that laying Obamacare over Romneycare when the former really starts to kick in on January 1, 2014 would cause barely a ripple in the Massachusetts medical insurance market. Yet, the State's own Insurance Commissioner and the Executive Director of Massachusetts Health Connector (the director of "RomneyCare") requested modification to key elements of Obamacare to avoid "extreme premium increases" for a "significant number of citizens in Massachusetts".

There's more, but we'll start with this.

Pioneer Institute huh? Wiki describes as non-partisan think tank but further reading shows only Libertarian beliefs.

Pioneer Institute is an independent, non-partisan, privately funded research organization
........................
The Institute also focuses on job and business creation; and limited and effective state and local government. Its "good government" efforts have included welfare reform, streamlining regulation, and the mass transit system; currently, its focuses are on public pensions, collective bargaining, public finance, and transparency of information.

Yep, pretty non-partisan.
