Where did your tax dollars go?

Interesting pie chart. Seems most of my taxes go to military defense.

It seems to me that the pie chart is split pretty evenly between defense, social security and medicare.


Where did my California state tax all go Barbara?...I think I paid almost 3 grand.

That is really interesting!

Btw the military is nefarious I clicked on 'income security' and a bit of that goes to the military retirement fund.

It seems to work that way at 30k, 50k, and even 250k.

The military consumes roughly all income tax revenue. The federal gov't pays for everything else with debt.

My suspicion is that web site merely ties your income level to your IP address. The web site owners then sell your data.

Like I have said before (despite derision from my left wing buddies that do not like the MIC) it is big chunk of our economy. If it goes away we will all have to work at Walmart perhaps. And do not think your private place of employment is not tied to it in some way.
