There's plenty of ill will on both the right and the left. I think that if you go looking for conflict, you're going to find it.

BTW, is vial bigotry the kind that you inject?

I deny that anyone in this thread ever accused Ratzinger himself of being a child molester. Prove me wrong.

Some, myself included, have accused him of covering up cases of child abuse by other priests, insisting that these crimes be "handled" internally. This insistence spared these criminal priests from being prosecuted in the courts and, in most cases, resulted in no more severe "punishment" than being reassigned to another parish without any sort of warning to that new parish regarding the priest's heinous crimes.

I deny that anyone called Ratzinger a Nazi. Prove me wrong.

There was mention made of his having been a member of the Hitler-Jugend. That's an undeniable fact but membership in the Hitler Youth was mandatory at age 14. Ratzinger was automatically enrolled as a result but was never inducted into the Nazi Party, as that wasn't possible until age 18 and he was only 17 when the war ended.
