Breath Pete, breath...
Is it a California thing to misspell "breathe"?

Regards,
Dave

Do you guys use the word "shoppe" in California?

A visitor from Indiana was suprised when he came to Michigan and saw our party shoppes. He pronounced it shoppey.

Shoppe or shop? Same thing except things are more expensive in the one with the extra pe. Don't take diction lessons from anyone that's from Indiana is my best advice.

Again I find this strange. I'm not saying go bomb China or anything. However as they continue their climb back to their historical place in the world our interests will definately clash. Will they stay within the system of civilized nations? I certainly hope so. But I wouldn't hold my breath either.

Pete

What exactly is that?

Either Obama by a hair, or Romney in a land slide. Id can't explain it, but that's what my gut tells me.

I guess I agree that Obama could do it with the electoral college, but something else tells me that the media and polls have not taken into consideration how motivated Republicans are this year. Remember 2010, nobody saw that much of a swing coming either, don't forget Scott Brown either. Time will tell, but I know of at least 3 small businesses that are planning to close up shop if Obama wins. I'm torn on selling my gold before Tuesday, as it will plummet in value if Romney wins, and continue to rise if Obama gets another 4. I hope if Romney does win, he will shut off the money presses post haste.

I lived in Indiana for about five years when I was young.
We drove on the ceeeement hiiiighway and put our groceries in a poke.
And I never did figure out how to say 'wash' Hoosier style. They put an 'r' in the word right after the 'w'.
Not surprised about how your friend pronounced shoppe.
