Have you any idea what Nixon did? How old were you when Watergate occurred? Me, I was already an adult, a veteran and married with two kids, so I can tell you that there was never a more disgraceful occupant of the White House, with the possible exception of Republican Warren G. Harding, than Richard M. Nixon.

By the way, you know why Nixon resigned? It wasn't because the Democrats hounded him pout of office. It was because principled Republicans - it wasn't an oxymoron then - told him he had to go. The House Judiciary Committee voted 27-11 in favor of impeachment. That included all of the Democrats and 6 of the 17 Republicans on the Committee. I think it's safe to say that something like that could never happen today.

Oh, and what exactly was it that Clinton did that was so terrible?

Occam's Razor would support that it was a terrorist attack and not the convoluted spontaneous attack narrative caused by a youtube video suggested by the administration. Let's see: Increasingly militant activity in Libya preceding 11 September; communications by Stevens and security personnel pointing towards possible threats; the significant 11 September date itself; claimed responsibility by miltants. The length of time the administration stayed with their version is telling IMHO.

Man, you're having a senior moment, aren't you? 20 cities erupted into friggin' demonstrations after the Arab world saw that video, starting in Cairo and spreading from there. I know it's a pain in the ass but why don't you watch BBC or one of the other overseas news outlets once in a while. Fox and their slightly more legitimate cousin CNN are the only ones spreading this utter line of bullcrap that you're regurgitating. Didn't you see Romney crash and burn when he tried this same crap at the debate? Once again for the hard of hearing. In the Rose Rarden on Sept. 12th, President Obama called it an act of terror, read the transcript. As information was provided to the President in the following days he passed on the intelligence community's estimates to the media. As others have said time after time, you guy's are just trying to make shit up and guess what? It doesn't pass the sniff test. All of this faux f***ing outrage over a Peace Corp veteran and Ambassador getting wacked by some crazy fundamentalists is a load of steaming crap coming from the Teapartyists.

The bigger question here JB is why did Romney try to capitalize on this before he even knew what was going on? Effin' Romney was on TV trying to score points at 10:30pm on September 11th! and these guys weren't even cold.
