Soooo.. racist is OK east of the Mississippi
Very deep south really, with the great migration cities tossed in. 18 of the top 20 black states by [oops - percentage] are east of the river.

Jeeze, Pete! Get a freakin' grip! I mention geography in reply to your apparent surprise that more people don't listen to him. A lot of us cant, except perhaps online, because the show isn't available in their home markets.

This is interesting. A little number crunching using:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...can_population
and the US census total black population of 42,020,000 in 2010, 70% of all black folks in the US live east of the mighty mississip. I never would've guessed that though I guess historicly it makes sense.
No wonder I like funk and r&b

Btw I understand. Does anyone out west listen to black talk radio? I'd be curious to see the similarities in talking points.

I don't listen to talk radio at all.

It's more like an old radio 'show', they talk, play songs, tell jokes, have a 'battle of the sexes' - name that tune, etc. It's a pretty good show. All the white 'shows' are all talk now, even the formerly great WMMS. Besides, and this is my experience in production too, the white boys are whiny-er in general
The more I think of the racial breakdown the more interesting it seems. I don't know if it matters though.

There's a lot of empty west of the Mississippi. I'd guess that not much more than 30% of the total population lives in the west.

Oh, I've listened to "black radio" stations. One of the local black colleges, (They call them "historically black" now.), has an outstanding late night classic jazz program.
But, straight-up talk radio is the domain of redfaced white guys who think the whole world owes them an easy, unrestricted path to incredible wealth.....In other words, right-wing radio.
Regards,
Dave

Ah so. I guess being an easterner California looms larger than life in my thinking.
