The eye of the beholder
I guessing that we'll have some takes on this clip that are polar opposites. I thought it was funny.

Heh, heh. Those Chicagoans are brave souls walkin' and talkin' trash about baseball in Beantown. Or just plain knot headed. One gal said "We still love ya" afterwards....

Me too and the crowd response was good natured.

It did sound like booing and not 'Yooking'. I don't think they're cheering Kevin anymore after the trade, but they probably aren't celebrating losing him either. I'll think it was funny if Obama got offended, but it all seemed good natured enough. Hey, anything to distract from the election or the state of Obama's failing policies and his lack of leadership is something for Obama to smile about... is it not?

Not in the least, look to the repubs for the failings you seek.

I'm quite sure Obama was not offended. He was on friendly turf and there was no need to distract anyone from anything. If he had to convince that crowd of anything, it is that the moderate path he has taken toward governance is the correct one - that he hasn't moved too far to the right.

D-Ray
