Yep, English, what what old chap stiff upper lip bitter kippers bread pudding and all that As a kid I had to bow and my younger sister had to curtsy when we were introduced to adults, and a brass plaque on the bathroom door said 'England expects every man to do his duty' lol.
Rob I'm pretty sure her license was unmarked but that's probably changed here now. I do remember her 'green card' was actually pink.

If you have the time the articles contained in the above issue is worth the read. Here's the link to the intro article.

And there you have it. I have a former HS classmate who lives in Michigan. She and her husband own a small, local freight service with about 10-12 trucks. She's been posting her thoughts on FB and stated that she and her husband are doing exactly as you have described..........
They've been taking vacations in Europe and the Carribean, posting beautiful pictures on FaceBook of their travels. Use the money to expand their business? Not until after "...that SOB is gone from the Whitehouse." Now, it's their business, and I certainly believe they have the right to do as they wish with it.
But, the point is that to place the blame for unemployment solely on the shoulders of the president when you have people like that, behaving childishly as I believe they are, speaks volumes.
"Give me what I want, or I'll choke off the economy!" This is exactly the sort of behavior the right has accused unions of engaging in for decades.
And, this is why it is imperative that we DON'T give them what they want....until they get it through their thick skulls that they just can't have it.

So the same people that the left demonizes for their insidious love of money and their greedy ways are now not trying to make money because they don't like Obama? It's far more likely that the uncertainty that Obama has engendered by his policies and rhetoric produced the current lack of hiring.
Last I looked, there were plenty of democrat business owners and CEOs. Are they also part of this proposed cabal to destroy Obama?

Illegal immigrants are the most docile of all workers. Just what the repubs want.
They wouldn't dream of joining or starting a union. Simple.

The end justifies the means, even with greedy capitalists. And if you can afford to hold out for what you perceive as a greater reward down the road---the promise of even lower taxation, a more docile labor force and stripping away of what YOU perceive as "onerous" regulation? Yes, of course they will, and you know it.
"Uncertainty" my ass. I'm sick and tired of hearing that bullshit, just as I am sick and tired of the assertion that there is no such effort.

That's right, the future is always "uncertain" and the end can come at any time. Morrison may have been a drunken wierdo, but he wasn't stupid.

Actually businesses are not hiring because they are learning to get by without hiring. Outsourcing, the information efficiency brought about by the web, and the ability to sit on profits and to make more profits with the same amount of resources is dictating hiring decisions by the job creators. That couple Dave is talking about...they are not hiring because they do not feel the need to hire...they are just using Obama as an excuse. Of course when Mitt Romney is President the floodgates of employment will open...
Japan still has the elavator operators and the gasoline attendants...inefficient yes, but people with incomes increase buying power.
Important, buying power, especially in a recession.
