A smart Dude I know sent it to me.
Tomorrow it will be laminated and afixed to my toolbox. It won't be there long as the first time one of the plant wingnuts sees it, he'll go running straight to management. (Most likely our "We've all got to pitch in and do our part!" maintenance manager, who has a t.v. in his office, so he can watch ESPN at work.) And I will be told to remove it.
Can you tell this smartass has been through this sort of thing before?

I disagree that hatred inevitably accompanies anger. Do you believe Jesus hated the money lenders? He certainly was angry at them.
I'm certainly angry at Palin and have no respect for her but I don't hate her. If, however, I were convinced that she were deliberately harming the country for personal gain I would be tempted to hatred. I'd resist but the temptation would be there.
If only for practical reasons and reasons of self-interest, I try to avoid hatred. It clouds the mind.

How then do you feel about McCain?
Angry or hate?
He knew how dangerous Palin would be as president yet he placed her in a position where that could have very well happened. Personally I had respected him previous to that.

Hate to butt in here, but you're getting into my area. Does the company allow stickers for tool companies, beverages, pictures of dogs, etc, on toolboxes? If they do, they can not lawfully prohibit a sticker that shows solidarity with other workers. If you want to know more about that, you could PM me, but I just wanted to let you know that your ability to post such artwork in your tool box MIGHT be protected by the law if: 1) The company allows other material to be stuck on tool boxes, and 2) if it was clear that the purpose of your sticker was mutual aid and benefit for workers.
I love to stick it to the man, but I wouldn't advise someone to do so without knowing enough about the circumstances to be confident that the stick didn't turn the other way.
Regards,
D-Ray

I guess I'm angry at him, though not much because I don't really see him as a disappointment. I certainly don't hate him. I think he's a morally weak and ambitious man who is probably seriously debilitated by his Vietnam experiences.
This doesn't excuse him but I don't think he knew very much at all about Palin when he agreed to having her as his running mate. She was the choice of the Neocons, particularly Bill Krystol who's had a stiffy for her for a while. The strategy was to pacify the far right who wanted Romney or Huckabee and thought McCain wasn't sufficiently wingnutty.

By God, we're on the same page.
I finally figure out that hatred, and losing your temper, only hurts yourself.
Life's too short to spend your time making yourself miserable. It's your choice, once you can recognize that you have the ultimate control.

I can't remember which AK member had the following statement in his signature, but it went something like - Resentment is like taking poison and hoping the other guy dies.
