Republicans ripping off songs

Several GOP contenders seem to be adopting rock songs as their campaign theme song without permission. What happened to the Party of Individual Responsibility.

Latest was yesterday by 'I am the Richest' Trump of a Neil Young song "Rockin' in the Free World". Neil is a Sanders supporter.

Then there was Scott Walker ripping off (which seems to be habitual for him) a DropKick Murphy's song which elicited this response from the group. "please stop using our music in any way...we literally hate you !!! Love, Dropkick Murphys".

There is more.

Rockstars knock Republicans for campaign songs

Of course, we all know the real reason, no self respecting rock musician will ever let their music co-opted by the GOP unless the name is Nugent.

Neil Young is hopping mad over the Donald. So Trump says he won't be using it again since Young is pissed off...and that he's a fan. To which I'm sure Neil Young has remarked privately to the effect that Donald Trump can go fuck himself.

Right wingers are always ripping off songs from lefty musicians.

That's because the overwhelming majority of people with artistic talent tend to be liberal.

I mean who the Hell do they have?

Hank Williams Jr?

Ted Nugent?

That's too funny! I bet Walker doesn't know that they started out as a Skinhead band. Their first record is one of my favorite discs ever.
They were never as good after McColgan left & got soft/P.C. IMO.

One might say the GOP is having a "Free For All".

Nobody's mentioned the Excrement in Fraudcasting guy's arrangement with his appropriation of "My city was gone", which is permission as long as the royalties go to PETA. Chrissie like's the irony of the arrangement, btw, with them being total polar opposites.
