I walked into the maintenance office at a previous employer one day and one of the supervisors was sitting in the office bitching about the wages a local company pays it's maintenance guys.

"$30 an hour for a mechanic, that's just bullshit."

As I strolled past him, I remarked, "Really, that much? Huh, I wonder if their hiring?"

Turns out they were. I've been working there since 2003.

Some people are so f**ked up that if you hear them complaining about something, go check it out. It's probably a pretty good deal.

Reich was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the son of Mildred Dorf (née Freshman) and Edwin Saul Reich, who owned a women's clothing store.[9] As a child, Reich was bullied, and sought out the protection of older boys; one of them was Michael Schwerner, who would be murdered by the Ku Klux Klan in 1964 for registration of African-American voters. Reich cites this event as an inspiration to "fight the bullies, to protect the powerless, to make sure that the people without a voice have a voice.
