Talking Rumble-Stewart/O'Reilly Debate

I think I'll donate a copy to the President's debate coach...

Zinger's against Romney, a primer. I can't wait for the townhall debate...the crowd is going to be chanting, "Liar - liar pant's on fire" at Romney.

You watched it? Not me. Paying $5.00 to see O'Reilly somehow doesn't appeal to me.

I watched it on YouTube the following morning. It may have been taken down in the meantime. It was OK, but nothing earth-shattering.

Naw, not yet. Just snippets here and there. (WaPo and the Young Turks, today.)

Stewart had a good comparison between corporate welfare and societal welfare.

(Paraphrasing), Why is it being a "smart businessman" to avail oneself to taxpayer support but when a citizen does it to eat he's labeled by Romney and his ilk as moochers?

There's no business like show business.

Just hold that thought.

Well I gained a lot of respect for O'Reilly. He is pretty cool when he isn't wearing his FOX hat.

He impressed me when he said that the problem with modern news was ... capitalism. And then repeated it. He told the audience in no uncertain terms that there is a lot of money to be made by being a dick and that that's a problem in the news world.

I've seen O'Reilly on the Daily Show a time or two and I have to agree with your impression. When not doing the job that Fox pays him to do he seems far less a dickhead. Of course, that just raises questions about whether he's just another type of dickhead, a mercenary one.
