Darrel Issa and the Public Option

From 2009;

Skip to the 10 minute 16 second mark.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMMaYL9mFyQ

Did you see the look on Kingstons face when Darrel said, "....I authored that public option..."?

Then, there's this;

http://www.nctimes.com/news/local/sd...8a2b3dc0d.html

""Rep Darrell Issa, R-Vista, also rejected a public option, saying it was an "expensive government health care takeover."

Issa said he favors a plan he has proposed that allows Americans to buy the same health care insurance plans that are available to federal employees and members of Congress. People would get the benefit of lower insurance costs, but they, or their employers, would have to pay for the premiums, Issa has said.""

He rejects a public option after proposing what sure sounds like a public option to me..........

What is it with these guys?

Dave

Yeah he wants to create his own Constituional crisis by demeaning the Attorney General with some bogus contempt vote instead of working on getting the economy me back together. What an embarrassment for California to have elected such a person to Congress.
