What issues keep you up at night?
What issues keep you up at night?
For me it's the disappearing jobs. I have kids in technical school, and college, and one more on her way their in a few years.
The oldest is having a really difficult time of finding work. There is just nothing out there, and if there is a job, about a million folks apply for it, so it's very tough to get into the final interview stages.
I think there are so many issues out there with the country right now, that I find it hard to focus and fully understand just one of them.
Thoughts?

My only worries are financial. I live hand to mouth as many of us do, I keep watching my pay go down down down but the bills stay the same.
A wise rabbi once told me, "Sometimes, to see the hand of God, you have to look behind you." I look back on my struggle to survive over the last couple years and think, I made it this far.....and all of a sudden, I'm at peace knowing that no matter what, I'll be okay.

What bothers me most is that a country as wealthy as we are will put corporate profits ahead of human life.

Just curious, have you ever sat around a campfire making smores and singing Kumbaya? Nothing keeps me up at night as I have a pill for that problem.

I don't worry about stuff like that-Wars, the economy, Swine Flu-Hell, I can't do nothin' about it anyway, most of it is None Of My Business anyhow. I DO worry about what kind of life my little "girlfriend", Bethany is gonna have-What can I do to see she has the best "head start" on things in life ? I've tried so hard as long as I've known her to instill in her the necessity of a good education, but its hard to get a 17-yr old to think that far ahead.

I get cramps in my feet.
Sometimes, something will take to buggin' me, but I get over it pretty quick. And the older I get, the less things bother me.

Mostly I sleep the sleep of the just, indegestion (rare) is the only thing to keep me awake. If that happens 15 minutes in front of the TV will fix that.

I can see how 15 minutes of watching teevee would cure an upset stomach.
I always feel better after I throw up too!!!

What keeps me up at night?
1. My parents potentially having trouble with their health and health care.
2. No social security for me and the distinct possibility of living in a fridge box at some point.
