Yellow Trucking ceases operations
Trucking giant Yellow shuts down on verge of bankruptcy, Teamsters say
More than 30,000 jobs are affected, including those of 22,000 union members. Looks like this has been brewing for quite some time. Acquisitions on borrowed money, acrimony with Teamsters Union have all contributed. What is interesting is that Yellow Trucking got a $700Million Covid era loan from the Federal government and they will be defaulting on this also with their bankruptcy.
