I had a friend get fired---and had another job in a month. Another worked for a government contractor and got his 90 day layoff notice. He was never unemployed---not for a single day. Went right from the old job to the new one. (In the private sector, BTW.) These are just two examples, I have more.

Are things ideal? No. But anyone who still tries to claim we are not in recovery is having personal issues. Get over it.

Things are improving here. Of course our unemployment rate only increased from 2.5% to 5.6%. Years go NW Arkansas was too poor to notice recessions. Now we are too rich to notice them.
