Gentlemen...I have been reading all your comments on this subject of birth control and as usual...I find no remark of responsibility on the men! Back in the day...some men carried protection.
Now...pregnancy is not a medical condition. A medical condition is a disease...look it up. Monitoring of a pregnancy can be beneficial...but not always necessary.
Some of us have been successful in getting doctors to recognize for decades... to take pregnancy out of the disease category. When I delivered my children it required a five day stay in the hospital...now an overnight or home delivery is the norm.
Should we all pay for birth control?? You bet!... We are paying for the welfare of many children...after the fact... when it mounts to more than $1,000 a year.
My advise to the young women of Georgetown??? Go to the nearest Planned Parenthood.
