A lot of RTR decks were built without electronic speed switching and had the little sleeve that you had to change, Rob. Especially the older ones.
My Revox A77 does not have "reverse play".
The 4000D is a fine deck. There was one on CL here, that I wanted something fierce. But the guy wanted way too much money.
