I think both are done by Bill Still, who I think is a Libertarian...don't quote me on this. You should be able to glean something from them, but keep an open mind.

Be forewarned, Griffin is a member of The John Birch Society. But it is an interesting book, and contains enough history that it bears to be read more than once. Keep an open mind as well. And don't sell the Birchers short, by and large they're not as they are portrayed as.
I'm not sure how David will view my selections, but they are for the layman, and will provide you with enough knowledge to further pursue this subject.
Actually, I'm quite interested in any selection he may suggest.
You realize, of course, that this is one of those disciplines in which the more you learn, the more you can appreciate just how little you know.
