Correct.
Cheap Midway kit..Hogue stock, A&B target barrel, I did spring for a Power Custom hammer & sear kit.
I've got about $400 in it as is. Puts 10 rounds of Wolf Target into 5/8" at 50 yrds. I like it a lot.
The other is a Browning A-Bolt .22. Puts 5 rounds into 3/4" at 50. On a good day. It likes Winchester 22 Target.
Whenever I first bought the Browning, I killed five squirrels with five shots, four in the head, and one through the neck, because I was shooting through leaves. Never could get my limit.
Back before I went blind, I've gone out with a Ruger Single Six and brought back more game that the bunch I went with...who were using scatterguns.
BTW, and this ain't a lie...I kilt muh first squirrel by knocking him out of a tree with a walnut...then I chased 'em down and "sqooze" 'em to death with muh bare hands.
I point this out to these tightfisted hillbillies who get to thinkin' that I'm a fool for spending more on a rekkerd player than what a good .45 or a big hog is worth.
Little Abner....move over!!!
