This ruling does not necessarily uphold the Wisc collective bargaining law, as I understand it. This ruling supports how the law was passed in light of the Wisc Open Meeting statute, which was the basis for that particular legal challenge. There are several other law suits waiting in the wings that could potentially tie up implementation of the collective bargaining changes for quite some time.
