If you watch the video of this "gaff", you'll see she has her head down the whole time signing autographs and with the microphones constantly in her face -- she keeps babbling. Doesn't CARE about the quality of the delivery. WITHOUT the babbling, on prepared remarks, she does better than Biden..
I reserve the imbecile or moron status to those who make mistakes of SUBSTANCE or policy. (Like Cynthia McKinney this week in Libya PRAISING the socialist totalitarian govt of Khaddafy)
And more often than not -- the press ends up looking silly for dinging her on facts and substance where THEY display a lack of understanding --- EXACTLY like this incident where it turns out Palin was inarticulate,
but factually solid..

How PERFECT a psych op is this!! B'rer rabbit (the REPs) construct the perfect meaningless inanimate object (Palin) that exploits the vainness of the media and the animosity of the left (that would be Mr. Fox kiddies).
