This just in: my local school district gives 15 days sick time per year. It can roll over, up to 210 days.

So, if you use the 4 more normally given, in 19 years you have the max 'saved'. Then when you retire with 20 years you get 1/3 pay for your sick time, a bonus that at 60K would be over $16K.
