OK.

<<<<<<<<<Where was the separation of CHURCH and STATE.>>>>>>>>>>>>

The church has always taken political stances, government is not supposed to under our constitution.

<<<<<<<<<<<It sounded like a political rally to me>>>>>>>>>>>>

This honestly sounds like an unhappy Fox talking head finding fault with the coverage a deceased liberal is receiving.

<<<<<<<<<<<....praying for health care passage (Lord hear our prayer)>>>>>>>>>>.

Had to interpret this as anything other than you are upset at the ceremony of a man who had always championed (what I am sure the Church feels is an imperative moral) health care.

<<<<<<<<<<<,,,,,and other political issues? >>>>>>>>>>>>

again, sounds like a Fox talking head exasperated that there is another view on things.

<<<<<<<<<<<Hubby said...money talks.>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Didn't you mean that the Kennedy's had coerced the church into adapting a political agenda for cash?

<<<<<<<<<<<<I didn't watch all of it...munchkin grandsons came for lunch.>>>>>>>>

That's just nice and what life is about. Hope they are always healthy and safe.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<No doubt it will play through the week.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sounds like you are frustrated that Kennedy will receive so much coverage.

<<<<<<<<<<< And before all the critics start...we're Catholics scrutinizing the handling of what used to be a somber, respective, family experience in the Catholic Church. Not an acadamy awards event.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Seems like you have decided how the Kennedy's and the church should conduct a funeral and find fault with both.

Sorry if I am wrong but this is how I read your post, I honestly can think of no other interpretation even after your request to reevaluate it.
