In that case, allow me to respond.
I have NO idea what the Obama Administration and the Democrats want to do...other than ramrod this legislation through before they run out of political capital, and spend a hell of a bunch of money in doing so.
What's say we slow down, and come up with a plan which the public supports. This is too important to do a half assed job.
But then again, our elected officials are doing it...maybe half assed is the best we can expect.
