The 50% tariff imposed by Trump on India because the Modi government is continuing to buy oil from Russia is getting to be interesting. According to reports, India is buying a third of Russian oil exports presumably at below market rates and chances they are paying in USD which Russia desperately needs. I just don't see an amicable ending to this since Indi is more dependent on China and Russia for their imports than the US, but the 50% tariffs can also seriously impact their exports mostly impacting the low wage sector like carpets and textiles.
