Since I have been in Germany for around 40 years now, I donīt remember much of what I learned in high school about the US political system.
But WHY does the US president have so much power to do all the things that he is trying to do????????????????
I seem to remember something about checks and balances..
I donīt think ANY major policy decisions can be made by one person over here.
