You are absolutely correct Barney and I failed to see this.
Trump now has what he wanted all along, stay out of jail, suspend all prosecutions and now he can go back to doing what he does best, grifting and the entire US Treasury is at his disposal. He is already doing this in the background ever since he won the election with Melania as an equal participant.
I expect him to spend the next four years traveling between Bedminister and MAL with occasional stops in the WH for photo ops (marketing). And since he revels in chaos, more the better, nothing gets done and no one will blame him for not doing anything either.
But, Elon Musk will be in charge one way or the other. So Bannon is toast and so are most if not all of his bootlickers and no wonder he is siding with Elon at every turn.
The mandate that he is bragging about is all about a little fat middle finger hoisted at America.
