America is not ready for a female head of state. This may take several more generations in my opinion. Hillary had a famous last name but was pretty much a lightweight and Harris was a featherweight who could not have won if a primary was held (Ms. Pelosi implied this after the elections). Harris should start a political fund raising business, that is her true calling.
So yes, gender bias (misogyny?) and no compelling reason to vote for either of the women nominated either. Trump is a bad dude but so what is what the voters seemed to imply and they will soon find out.
