This fact to think about and ponder, what if we still had the draft?

Meaning this, if all male and female of age, ALL were subject to the draft. For one they would be more involved activity in and what is now current events effecting their future.

This fact to be consider also many draftee's once in service will grow and do well. Meaning they found a purpose a direction they lacked before fresh out of school. Or even discipline and training to carry into the next stage in their life.

So with the current state of a all volunteer military in a strong economy we have to take what we get. Have to make adjustments to keep the numbers at the levels required.
I think mandatory military service for all citizens, upon reaching a certain age I guess, would probably be a good thing if handles right. As long as those with "connections" could not skip it. Lots of people in this country could use some horizon broadening.
