Well, the SCOTUS has given the POTUS authority to have him seized and renditioned as an "official act", but he won't set such an extreme precedent as he respects the office, the process, and his responsibilities far too much. TFG, otoh, would have no such qualms if it serves his hunger for revenge.
Speaking of precedents;
BTW, if you've read Project 2025 you should recognise similarities to 1933, 91 years past, with the Nazis being totally prepared to take over Germany instead of the poorly though out previous beer hall putsch vs 2016 when the Maga Lardo Moussoli and his magamob wasn't either.
