The difficult thing about this is that, let's say the Israelis were able to go into Gaza, root out every subhuman bag of guts, and lock them up or kill them. Eliminate them, much as this country has eliminated Al Qaeda as a serious threat. The religious extremists are going to be hard at work immediately replacing the old Hamas with a new Hamas. Maybe they'll call it something else, maybe they won't. But they will be replaced, and likely by people even more subhuman than their predecessors. Of course having US liberal Jews and US liberal rabbis doing their victim precipitation bullshit, blaming the victims for the terrorist acts being perped on them...makes it all the worse.
I have an issue with your "expansion" comment above though. In August-September 2005, the government of Israel moved all residents in Gaza settlements, back to Israel. All Israeli security units were also withdrawn. The occupation of Gaza ended in September 2005. There is no "expansion" of Israeli settlements in Gaza, Gaza is no longer "occupied". If the problem Gazans have with the joint blockade of Gaza by Israel AND EGYPT (a country that never gets mortared, rocketed, or attacked by terrorists) all they have to do is tell Hamas to stop mortar attacks, rocket attacks, and other terrorist attacks. When sufficient assurances have been made that the terrorism is over, Israel will be more than happy to end any blockade of Gaza. Egypt has their own reasons for a blockade, which Hamas and Gazans apparently don't mind. Hamas will have to find some other excuse for their terrorism. And US liberal Jews and liberal Jewish rabbis will have to come up with some language other than "zionazi", "Israel apartheid", and "genocide" when they need to complain about Israeli Jews.
