Jim Jordan is now the undisputed leader in getting the least number of votes for Speaker of the House in a single ballot, just 199.
Jeffries now is the undisputed leader in getting the maximum number of votes for Speaker, 3700 over 17 ballots. He can thank McCarthy for his 15 attempts to grab the gavel earlier this year.
And as the GOP debacle for search for a Speaker continues, his vote number will keep mounting.
And by the way, the House is in recess as of this afternoon once again.
