Cynicism/Nihilism.
Hispanics turned out heavily for Obama in his first run for president. Obama had promised serious emigration reform. He won with three hammers...presidency, senate and house of representatives.He then proceeded to put his emigration promises on the back burner.
In two years he lost one of his hammers. Later he acquired the name "Deporter In Chief".
