But our civil discussion is just that a discussion that will change nothing. As Chicks stated above the first real change will more than likely be born from a SCOTUS change... a little hint, none of us will probably be alive when the court shifts.

Another hint: By then it would not matter. This country would be awash with guns, especially the assault variety that it would not matter unless guns are indeed confiscated, which I am certain will lead to a civil war. After every incidence of a mass shooting, sales of firearms soar.
