If that were I hope at some point that splitting anti-tRump vote contingent would realize that by splitting they're giving TFG a better chance at winning.The Democratic party would need to heavily push that message. That along with encouraging an anti-tRump vote to become a pro-Biden (or whichever Dem candidate) vote. The coming prosecutions won't budge the cult faithful but the rest of us need to be presented in vivid color reasons that the Republican party needs to be flushed.
A third party, if it's something split from the GOP, could be a big help to the Democrats.
