Especially to the humorless. You know the type.

You act like what Fox is alleged to have done is something new, and something your beloved WaPo or NY Times would never engage in. While you're reaching for that napkin to wipe away the froth from your mouth, let's revisit some prior "interesting behavior" on the part of some of your journalistic icons.
You want to gloss over the WaPo/NY Times/CNN coverage of the alleged "Russian Collusion" that lead up to the Mueller investigation. Accusations of Trump and the company's illicit contacts and fealty to Putin were a daily occurrence at that time, and it went on for YEARS. Lives were ruined, laws were broken (for which no one will be punished, but that's another issue), stories were published with shoddy sourcing, and on and on. No accountability for those news organizations...yet.
Go back a little further to the 2008 campaign. Remember when the NY Times published a shoddily sourced story about McCain having an affair with a lobbyist? The rush to get a story out to damage the McCain campaign was irresistible to the Times, apparently. The lawsuit was settled for no money, but the Times had to print a rather embarrassing retraction specifically and publicly stating how badly they screwed up.
How 'bout the unforgettable Dan Rather making up his own facts to report about Dubya's service record.
We have Fareed Zakaria still working at CNN, even though he's a plagiarist. I guess plagiarism isn't a problem for the left, though. Joe Biden got elected, after all.
And, of course, we'll never know how much this libelous fiasco cost the Post:

There's nothing new about news organizations messaging stories for eyeballs or clicks. But don't demand comment from me when I don't recall a single word from you condemning any of these. In fact, if memory serves, you referred to Sandmann as a "brat" or somesuch. So spare me your faux indignation, if for no other reason than you're embarrassing yourself.
