The bottom line is that Pfizer and the FDA were the only voices that mattered and they never once claimed that the vaccine stopped transmission. Period. There are conflicting studies saying it did or it didn't, but it really doesn't matter. The fact remains that the vaccine was (and is) the best thing that one can do to avoid getting very sick (or dying) from COVID.
I can't help but think that this latest brouhaha in the wingnut echo chamber is intended to draw an equivalency with all the lunatics on the right who claimed UV light, Chlorox, hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin killed the (microchip-laden) virus after belief in those claims resulted in higher deaths in red areas of the country. Somehow it's got to be the "experts'" fault and not their own.
