I was not really a fan of Kavanaugh being judge. However, the hearings were such an insulting witch hunt that I found myself torn. And when the Blasey Ford nonsense kicked in, I was no longer "torn". It became, IMO,
imperative that he be sworn in. Not because he was or wasn't qualified, but because of the over the top lunacy being employed - AT OUR HIGHEST LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT - to try to keep him out. It was as if they thought they could still Bork a nominee.
It was critical that those tactics lose, which they did. Comically, I still come across leftists that believe Kavanaugh ran a sex ring in college.
