This was in the Baltimore metropolitan area. I swear it sounded like an artillery barrage at times. I know fireworks are supposed to be paying homage to "the rockets red glare, bombs bursting in air" but this was ridiculous. They carried on for over an hour. I wouldn't be surprised if the "noise merchants" start hawking fireworks ahead of New Year's day.
